Shipping Methods
Shipping to Italy
We ship nationwide within 24/48 hours of receiving your order. Contact us for more information. Our Secretariat is at your disposal!
Delivery time
Orders received by 12:30 p.m. are generally processed in the afternoon of the same day, those received after 12:30 p.m. are processed the next day. Deliveries are made through the POSTE ITALIANE/SDA service within the next 24/48 hours (excluding Saturdays and holidays). Longer delivery times are expected for the following destinations: Livigno, Trepalle and Campione d'Italia and for the regions of Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia.
In case there is a problem with the courier company during transportation and the package does not arrive at its destination within the time limit, please report it to us promptly: we will try to solve the situation as soon as possible!
Please note: Do not contact us before the time limits have elapsed, as the data needed to be able to take appropriate action would not yet be available.
Other delivery information
Upon arrival at the destination, the courier requires the person receiving the package to sign for delivery*. If the person signing is different from the customer whose name appears in the delivery address, the latter still remains responsible for the package and any costs that are associated with it. Courier delivery times are approximately from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., and you must be available during these times, as you cannot choose a set delivery time.
Poste Italiane - SDA, if the customer cannot be found at the time of delivery, will leave the package at the local post office. The customer will be issued a notification through which he/she can independently pick up his/her parcel at the relevant office.
Before signing the courier's receipt, please check the package carefully and if it appears damaged in any way, write either 'damaged' or 'subject to inspection' next to your signature. If the goods inside the package have also been damaged, inform us within 24 hours of receiving the package and we will have the damaged items picked up and replaced within the terms of a new delivery. We cannot accept claims if only your signature appears on the delivery note without further notice.
It may happen that delivery is delayed due to force majeure, Casa Artusi does not take responsibility for such delays if due to situations that occur after the package has left our warehouse.
If the courier finds no one at the delivery address, he will leave a message with instructions for you to contact his company directly. If the package is returned to us because there has been no contact on your part, you will be charged the appropriate transportation costs.
*Dispositions of laws to protect public health could provide for different modes of signature acquisition
Shipping costs
Shipping is free for orders with an amount of €100 or more.
Shipping costs are €10.
It is always possible to check the amount of shipping costs before the order is finalized.
COD charges
In the case of payment by cash on delivery, there is a surcharge of € 5 to be paid upon delivery.
Payment Methods
Payment by card
The Customer will be redirected to the Moneta Web payment platform (Intesa San Paolo bank) and can choose to proceed via credit or debit cards.
Casa Artusi does not collect any data related to the card used, or related to access codes to the payment form. This information is collected directly from the bank payment system. The actual charge will occur when Casa Artusi sends the order confirmation e-mail
Cash on delivery payment
You can choose cash on delivery as your payment type, for domestic shipments only. You will need to have the exact amount of your order available in cash at the time of delivery. The courier does not accept checks and cannot give change.
Payment by Bank Transfer
You can choose bank transfer as the payment type, after confirming your order details, you will receive an e-mail with the exact amount to be paid and all the necessary data for making the transfer.

Application of general conditions of sale
Confirmation of the order implies the Customer's acceptance of these general conditions.
Validity of bids
Items visible on the site are available while supplies last.
In the event of a charge or withdrawal related to an unavailable item, Casa Artusi agrees to offer a voucher or refund the Customer within 15 days.
Casa Artusi undertakes to inform by e-mail the Customer who will have ordered an unavailable item.
Product presentation
The products for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible.
Nevertheless, in case of errors or omissions in this presentation, Casa Artusi disclaims any responsibility, for this reason and for the safety of consumers.
Please note that product images are purely indicative and illustrative.
Price of products
Prices are presented in euros, including taxes for Italy.
The VAT amount appears when the Customer selects the product. In case of changes in VAT rates, such changes may affect the final price of the items without the need to notify the Customer.
Casa Artusi reserves the right to change its prices at any time; however, products will be invoiced at the price in effect at the time the order is registered.
Order
The Customer validates the order as indicated below. Validation implies acceptance of these general conditions of sale.
Order changes
Once the order is confirmed, it is immediately sent to the warehouse for pickup.
Therefore, we ask that you check your order before confirming it, as once it is sent it cannot be changed.
Handling of packages not delivered by our courier company
These are the parcels that were not delivered to the final consignee for the following reasons: unknown consignee, unclaimed, refused, damaged in transit, tampering...
Cause of package return: unknown consignee or address anomaly
These are the packages returned to the sender by the courier for the following reason: Recipient does not live at the given address.
Upon receipt and acceptance of the package by our services, Casa Artusi will contact the customer to resend the order if the product is still available or proceed with a refund, depending on the customer's choice.
Casa Artusi reserves the right to proceed with a refund of shipping costs and also reserves the right to resend the order if more than one item is found to have been returned to the sender with an unknown recipient.
Cause for return of parcel: “ABSENT / NOTIFIED”
These are the parcels that were not picked up by the customer at the relevant post office or delivery point within the stipulated time.
Following the receipt and acceptance of the package by our services, Casa Artusi will contact the customer to resend the order if the product is still available or proceed to refund the order depending on the customer's choice.
Casa Artusi reserves the right to proceed to refund the order instead of resending if there are multiple unclaimed items.
Cause of return of the package: “REFUSED”
At the time of delivery, the customer refused the package.
Upon receipt and acceptance of the package by Casa Artusi, a voucher will be credited to your customer account within 72 hours after the package is returned.
You may request cancellation of the purchase voucher and a refund by contacting our Secretariat.
Any refund, in case of prepayment, will have a reduction of the related transportation costs incurred.
Damaged parcel
Sign with reservation in case of damaged package.
Liability
On all stages of access to the site, consultation, filling out forms, order execution, delivery of items or on any other service, Casa Artusi assumes only an obligation of intermediation. Therefore, Casa Artusi disclaims any responsibility for inconveniences or damages derived from the use of the Internet and totally unrelated to the obligations and precautions taken by Casa Artusi. In particular, all contingencies related to the provision of the service, external intrusions or the presence of computer viruses will not be attributable to Casa Artusi. Similarly, anything that proves to be a cause of force majeure within the meaning of the Court of Cassation esone.
Invoice request (Customers Italy)
To request an invoice, simply indicate invoice request in the shopping cart and fill in the billing information correctly.
The invoice can only be requested by the following parties:
- Vat holders
- Entities assimilated to companies without the obligation to have a VAT number but holding a numerical tax code.
- For individuals with alphanumeric tax codes, it will only be possible to request a receipt.
Intellectual Property
All elements of the Casa Artusi website, visual or aural, including the technology that supports them, are protected by copyright, trademark or patent law.
These elements are the exclusive property of Casa Artusi, or the rightful owners for whom Casa Artusi has acquired a license to use them.
All hypertext links that refer to the Casa Artusi website and that specifically use framing, deep-linking, in-line linking or other direct linking techniques are strictly and formally prohibited.
Without exception, all links, while tacitly authorized, must be withdrawn at the request of Casa Artusi.
Right to Withdrawal
Articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code).
The Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving reasons, within 14 days. The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day the Customer or a third party, other than the carrier and the designated Customer, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer is required to inform Casa Artusi of its decision to withdraw from this contract by sending an explicit statement; Casa Artusi will respond by e-mail of the confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal.
To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for the Customer to send the notice regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiration of the withdrawal period.
The communication must specify the items you intend to return and whether you want a replacement or refund.
The Right of Return does not apply to users who are not purchasing as consumers (retailers).
Effects of Withdrawal
If the Customer withdraws from this contract, he/she will be refunded all payments he/she has made to Casa Artusi, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from his/her possible choice of a type of delivery other than the standard type offered by Casa Artusi), without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day Casa Artusi received notification of his/her decision to withdraw from this contract. Said refunds shall be made by bank transfer and only within the EU territory; in any case, the Customer shall not incur any costs as a consequence of said refund. Refunds may be suspended until receipt of the goods or until the Customer proves that it has returned the goods, whichever is earlier. The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the Customer.
For civil disputes, the territorial jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of Forlì
